Data Collection on Our Website

SSL or TLS Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content you send to us as the site operator, our website uses SSL or TLS encryption. This means that data you transmit via this website cannot be read by third parties. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the "https://" in the address bar of your browser and the lock icon in the browser bar.

Server Log Files
The provider of the website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL (access status/http status code)
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • Date and time of the server request, including the time zone
  • IP address
  • Transferred data volume

These data are not merged with other data sources. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, which allows data to be processed based on a legitimate interest. Temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable delivery of the website to the user's computer. The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer needed. For data collection to provide the website, this occurs when the session ends.

Contact Form
Data submitted through contact forms, including your contact details, will be stored to process your request or follow-up questions. This data will not be shared without your consent.

Data entered into the contact form will only be processed based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent at any time by informal communication via email. The legality of data processing carried out before the revocation remains unaffected.

Data submitted through the contact form will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Mandatory legal provisions, particularly retention periods, remain unaffected.

Job Application Process
We collect and process personal data as part of job applications. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR, § 26 BDSG, or, in the case of consent, Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a), Art. 7 GDPR. All personal data processed during an application process is protected from unauthorized access and manipulation through technical and organizational measures.

Processing can also take place electronically, such as when users send application documents by email. If we conclude an employment contract, the data transmitted will be stored for the purpose of processing the employment relationship in compliance with legal provisions. If no employment contract is concluded, the application documents will be automatically deleted no later than six months after notification of the rejection decision unless there are legitimate interests against deletion or the user has consented to indefinite storage. Legitimate interests may include obligations under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).
